Maybe series two will be all about the other survivors, and what happens to them on the island. And then in series three, the two tribes will have to compete against each other to win a grand prize and... wait, stop me if this starts to sound familiar.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

If Lostzilla gets to eat Jeff Probst, I'm all for it.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I have to share a couple of bits of cute.

One of the writers (Javier) put together a little box for the auction. It has a script, notes, and notecards from breaking the story. On top of the box is a LOST sticker made by Matthew Fox, who was worried that the show wouldn't get enough publicity and so made tons of stickers for a bit of grassroots marketing in the beginning.

Also? Fury is kinda my hero. It's been like a HIGE rollercoaster ride. First, the party was planned for the ninth. Got a call, was cutting it too close. We changed the date to the 15th. Then the extra ep was added. They were going to be filming until the day before the party.

THEN. The extra episode was going to be two hours long. Now they're filming past the party.

THEN. They scheduled the wrap party for the same day.

I just kept saying, "It'll be okay. I'll figure it out. Inhale pink, exhale blue."

Fury went to the offices and said, "this is not okay."

Flurries of calls. Bryan Burk called from New York twice a day to try and help. Wrap party was moved to the 17th. Writers started calling and saying, "I am going to your party, no matter what. I'll be there."

Heart went melty. Then another writer, who was a PA on BtVS way back when and went to all the PBPs and W&HAR called casting to ask them to call the guest stars who live in LA and invite them.

No idea how that'll work out, or even who is coming. But I'm all about the effort.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Go Allyson!

I hope everyone is talking about your party at the wrap party.

I wish I lived on the coast again, so I could go to your events.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

If Lostzilla gets to eat Jeff Probst

I will pay cash money to see this. Heck, I was advocating for the Survivor All-Stars to make its big twist be that Jeff had to play, instead of just do the Alex Trebek stuff on the sidelines.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

You know that Jeff was the host of Rock & Roll Jeopardy, right?

...but did he eat rat he had killed and cooked himself on that show? I bet not. (Actually, I have never heard of Rock & Roll Jeopardy. Although I do see Marc Summers from Double Dare on Food Network not and then.)

Not so much, but he was very funny. The other bit of R&R Jeopardy trivia I know is that Mark McGrath (once of Sugar Ray, now of Extra) was like the best player ever.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I loves me some Jeff Probst. The man strikes just the right balance between--"this stuff is kinda goofy" and "This game can be really interesting."

Amy - Apr 03, 2005 4:16:55 pm PDT #7306 of 10000
Because books.

I like Jeff, too. I never understood why everyone hates him. Not his fault they make him parrot that goofy "The tribe has spoken" nonsense. And I think he's getting snarkier with every season, which is fun.
