I've wondered about this. Have I been missing all the cryptic shots to Hurley feeling guilty?
I think Hurley has managed to maybe release himself of the immediate guilt by fixating on the numbers as the culprets. Externalizing, instead of internalizing, unlike Sam Toomey did in Australia.
