I feel so much less crazy now. With the bringing-multiple-books-because-I-don't-know-what-I'll-be-in-the-mood-for, that is. My family always mocks me for it. My people!
Lilty, I always bring a bottle of water--plane trips dehydrate VERY easily. I got my first Nalgene bottle "because it wouldn't get squished when I kicked my carryon under the seat."
So, I wonder if the numbers could mean:
years, months, weeks, days, minutes, seconds
maybe not in numerical order.
or...
years, months, days, hours, minutes, seconds
I ususally travel with at least three or four wide-ranging choices, supplemented occasionally by a couple of others picked up in the airport, on the theory that I don't know what *precisely* I'll be in the mood to read.
eight for a week. 2 or 3 on the plane the rest in the suitcase. Often - I come home with 10.
Dh and I once went to my GP in South Carolina. for a week, but it was very hot in the middle of the day. We ran out of books. and both of us had about 10.
