I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Just saw "Bride and Prejudice" and Naveen Andrews (Sayid) sings and dances.

I saw it last Saturday. Naveen Andrews is gorgeous in the movie and, as CaBil says, sings and dances. Mmmmm-hmmm. He also continues his trend of having sexual chemistry with everyone and everything, including the tie of Darcy's trousers. Ahem. He also spends a scene leaning against a railing, with his shirt flapping open in the breeze, just for the sheer aesthetics of it. Lucky railing. I'll probably see the movie again to see the bits I missed due to projector malfunctions at my theater.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hi CaBil! How goes it?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

This write-up of "Lost" for the Crack Van community is hilarious:

Come with us on a magical tour of the island and meet all our unique residents. Watch out for the animals packed with symbolic meaning. From the smallest moth to the largest, meanest boar, you never know when you might meet an animal that represents some aspect of your inner turmoil. Don’t think of it as a nuisance, think of it as free therapy.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Pretty funny stuff. Though apparently the writer learned a version of English where "our" is a version of the verb to be.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I realized this weekend. It's the magical island. Sun can speak perfect English because she wants to. t makes "ta-da" gesture

I should write the producers and congratulate them on the most multi-purpose plot-hole filler ever.

Hey Robin, doing okay. Surviving in the mess that masquerades as the Greater DC area. You?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think everyone should read The Partyman's Vincent Fan-Fic.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Man, not only did he get the voice just so exactly right, but it really blends seamlessly into the canon.

If I only had a brain...

Spoiler alert! White font that, damn you!

I mean, I really wasn't expecting the woof or the inter-species woof woof or the completely unjustifiable way that Sayid woof arf woof.
