The discman was great. Jin does have some english! Sun in the bikini at the end. Locke knows evereything.
Next week looks intense.
Josh Holloway would make a perfect Jack Horner.
And DM could be Boy Blue.
I loved the that the montage ballad crapped out.
My daughter just a couple minutes before that asked why they hadn't run out of batteries yet! Guess they finally have.
I wonder what's up with Hurley -- did it look like there were military men around him? Or maybe police?
t blinks wha.. what? I must have missed something. Can someone catch me up?
I groaned at the discman montage and then applauded the batteries running out. That made resurrectivng that particular cliche totally worthwhile.
I wonder if Jin is going to start over without Sun, and then try to start over with her.
Tom mentioned that he can't see the parallels between Asshole Jin on the island and the warm, relaxed Jin-with-his-not!dead-dad just days or weeks before the crash. I am inclined to agree. But it didn't bug me as much.
Walt creeps me out more than Locke, and possibly more than flesh eating bacteria.
And, shut up Jack. That's why!
When Jin went to the Enviornmental Minister (or whoever) the first time, his daughter was watching tv and Hurley was on it. It was in the background and kind of hard to see.
Seriously? Hurley was on Korean TV (so that's what that question was about)?
I have no Tivo and I don't tape, somebody please supply an image of this! Please!

HOLY COW, that is cool. I totally missed that! (obviously) Dammit. Now I wish I'd taped. If anyone sees any screencaps around drop a hint in thread, eh?
I liked that. Jin's story was somewhat predictable, but DDK acted the hell out of his scenes and made me really feel for him. And that fight scene on the beach was *intense*, with the escalating music, the gibberish speech from Jin POV, and Sun finally breaking down, screaming in English.
The storm-warning inconveniently passed by during a big chunk of Korean dialog, obscuring the subtitles. Yeesh. If I didn't speak Korean, I'd have been highly annoyed.
The actor who played Sun's father? Sucked. The one who played Jin's dad was lovely. I'm still having major issues with Jin's overbearing attitude toward his wife, but this episode went a long way to humanize his character. Even though eventual reconciliation between them would be nice, I loved Sun shedding that wrap as a quiet declaration of freedom. Yunjin Kim rocked in this episode.
Sawyer was a jackhole again! Thank God.
