When I saw Duckett/Shrimp Guy (aka Jeff Perry), the role of his that sprung to my mind was Harvey Leek on Nash Bridges.
I feel a little less dorky now, since every time he was on screen last night I was yelling "Harvey!"
But still feeling dorky about this being in a post two screens back...hey, I'm trying to do labwork here, people...
What did everyone think about Charlie this episode?
A sad little dark woobie.
(I don't know what it says about me that, during the conversation between Sayid and Charlie, I was wondering what the Buffistas were going to make of the scene, given last week's conversation in this thread. That I've been sucked in, I suppose!)
Profit
On DVD in September! Finally!
Gods, that was a brilliant show.

I'm glad Drew retconned his motivations for shooting Ethan a bit (not so much retconned as added to in a sensible manner). I found him less unlikeable than I did at the end of last week's episode.
I do not have Charlie love. I really do feel like a stranger in a strange land when I go over to livejournal.
When I consider my feelings for Charlie it becomes apparent that I'm constructing these people with some input from the show. I have this strange feeling that for, say, Charlie, I know how he should work, and I'll keep pretending that's my version onscreen.
I think it's because the version I see either doesn't work right, or isn't interesting enough. So I make stuff up. But it's nice to see Drew gave him the motivation that I felt I had to assume he had. I doubt it'll continue to align.
Jack and Kate barely exist in my mental expanse, though, because there's just not enough for me to fill in. I can't like or dislike them consistently, because they're not consistent enough.
Yup. Jack and Kate are the Empty Pretty People.

I used to, but I lost it last week. Here is an LJ post to make you feel at home.

Exactly.
Jack and Kate are the Empty Pretty People.
I think Drew wrote a good and interesting Kate last night, at least. She acted realistically toward Sawyer, I think, and gave him the mocking he deserved. Also, she had a new purple tank top. Pretty.
