Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm finding that while Jack is my favorite character overall, I really don't like him when he's got his sanctimony on toward Sawyer, or is acting trusting and flirtatious toward Kate. Tonight had both.

My opinion about Locke yo-yos on a weekly basis. But he's always entertaining.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I learned about "I Never" in highschool, though since I didn't start drinking until my mid-twenties, I drank soda (though other people sometimes had booze) most of the times I played.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I missed the very very beginning. I arrived just as Sayid and Sawyer were talking over the credits. They did have a very nice moment.

I'm liking Jack less and less. If, as they had planned, his character died in--or shortly after--the crash, I wouldn't have missed him at all. Boone is essential at least as someone for me to pile all my dislike and disdain on. Jack... pffft.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is the promo breakdown for next week's Lost episode:

Narrator: Next Wednesday...

We open on a shot of Sun standing on the beach with the mountains in the backdrop. She is wearing a light blue bikini, and the dark towel /coat she was using for a wrap blows in the wind and then blows away.

Fade to a shot of Charlie and Claire walking on the beach together.

Fade to a shot of Sayid and Shannon sitting close together on the beach at dusk. Sayid appears to be brushing strands of Shannon's hair.

Narrator: After being stranded for more than a month...

Fade to black, then cut to a close up of Michael talking to someone who has their back to us so that we only see the back of their head.

Michael: "I've got to get this raft finished, so I can get my boy out of here and take him home."

Cut to a shot of Michael standing on the raft, lashing something to the front.

Narrator: Finally, they have a chance to get off this island.

Cut to a shot of Jack purposefully striding on the beach, with his backpack in tow.

Cut to a close up of Michael lashing something together on the raft with some homemade rope.

Pull back to see Jack talking to Michael as he works on tying things together.

Cut to a close up of Michael, with his eyes down, focused on what he is doing, as he listens to Jack.

Reverse to a close up of Jack talking to Michael.

Jack: "There's a lot of talk going around about who's going to go on this thing with you."

Switch angle to from behind Michael as he continues working on the raft while talking to Jack.

Michael: "I've only got room for four people."

Narrator: But there is someone...

Fade to black, then the word SOMEONE appears on the screen.

A shot consisting of two different angles of a group of the gang standing on the beach, superimposed over each other, appears.

Narrator: or something...

Fade to black, then the word SOMETHING appears on the screen.

A shot of the green mountains appears briefly.

Cut to a close up of Sun crying. This appears to be at night.

Narrator: ...that doesn't ever want them to leave.

Fade to white, then cut to a close up of Jin's shirt, then pan back to reveal Jin lying on the sand. His face is bloodied, and his eyes are closed.

Cut to a shot of Sayid in the jungle, straightening up to a totally upright position as though he was bent over tracking something, and is now gesturing to people off screen to indicate he found something.

Cut to a shot of Jack standing on the beach, looking quickly to his right.

Quick cut to another shot of the beach, where we see Kate, and then pull back to see Sawyer standing next to her. They appear to be listening to Locke's rant or reacting to something on the beach.

Cut to a shot of Locke in full rant mode. He is standing just on the edge of the beach in front of the woods, swinging his arms wide as he shouts his line.

Locke: "They've attacked us! We're not the only people on this island and we ALL know it!"

Fade to black, then cue the Lost logo.

Narrator: An all-new Lost, next Wednesday at 8, 7 Central, only on ABC.

Bad Robot.

Art Crawl!!!

Was the episode where we think Sawyer says something in the police station that suggests that he killed Jack's father the Jack episode? (Well, the one after the pilot?)

Art Crawl!!!

It is isn't it?

Darn the luck. I've been taping the episodes -- both so that I can continue to watch Smallville and discuss with friends and so that I can re-watch the episodes and eventually send the tapes on to a cousin who can't get ABC in on her tv well.

Apparently, I taped over or lost the tape that had "Walkabout", "White Rabbit" and "House of the Rising Sun". I only just realized this over the weekend. What are the chances that ABC will repeat these episodes again?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It was the Boone/Shannon episode, sumi. He was reporting the abusive boyfriend, and Sawyer came in drunk and waving a bottle.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

All I could get from that scene, I rewatched that part of "Hearts and Minds" is Sawyer yelling, "how come no one wants to hear my side of the story?!"

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

It's up.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I got a Memento vibe with this episode tonight.

Thank you. I knew it reminded me of something but I couldn't place it.
