"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

That was an excellent episode - the flashbacks were well integrated into the story, and there was the HSQ factor of Jack's dad and Sawyer. It ended on the right note, I thought.

BTW, the promo breakdown will be delayed a bit - I watch Alias, and then the Gators are on tape-delay.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

"I've never kissed a man!" Bwah!

Liar.

The magic refilling liquor bottles.

I think there were multiple bottles.

I was saying, "What, did you never go to college?!?!?" about half a second before Sawyer did. I don't know what that says about me.

Didn't someone speculate that a comment made by Sawyer while in the police station related to jack's dad? I don't remember exactly, but it sounds familiar.

Ooooh, so after Sawyer realized he killed the wrong man, he went back to the bar to beat the crap out of Jack's dad? I like.

I want to marry Ultimate Drew and have his little continuity-riffic babies. He's just so damn good.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I was saying, "What, did you never go to college?!?!?" about half a second before Sawyer did. I don't know what that says about me.

I just talked to my mom (we call each other after it's over, just like we did with Buffy and Angel), and she had no idea what "I Never" was. Because she even referred to it as a "word game." I had to explain to her that, no, it was a real game. (As real as drinking games are, that is.)

I am more and more of a Kate/Sawyer 'shipper with every episode.

We called it "Never Have I Ever," but the rules were the same.

Thrive to spite them

I've turned into a Shannon/Sayid shipper. I don't know how it happened, I've never been a shipper. Tonight was great and I liked everyone, but in the preview I went Squee!!!!! at the sight of them. It's a very weird feeling.

I liked tonight's episode more than I thought I would. I got a little worried with Sawyer's flashbacks, but I love how the previews were so totally misleading.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

This episode rocked like a rocking chair - despite the woobification of Sawyer. Ultimate Drew brought it but good.

Loved: the extreeeme closeup on Sawyer & Kate at the climax of "I Never"; Sawyer making Jack think he slept with her just to piss him off; Locke as Loki again; the fact that Sawyer was tracking Boone; stubble continuity; Hurley (as usual); the teaser, which was scary, sad and predictable all at the same time.

Didn't like (but didn't hate): Charlie; Claire was OK but Charlie was annoying; Kate's hairless pits.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I think I feel a death coming on next week.

I'm over the whole "who's going to die" thing. I don't care if they never kill anyone, as long they make the action interesting. And by that of course I mean porn.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Sawyer and Sayid did have a nice little moment there at the beginning, didn't they?

My TV was melting. Even if somehow Sayid has been getting less hot to me as the show goes on... maybe it's the facial hair. Or his sanctimonious nature. Though he does give good snark.
