You know, I read what people say about Kate and think "Sure, could be."
But someone's failing me. Writers? Directors? Lilly? Makeup? Dunno. I don't get the sort of sly and conniving I think she should be.
'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

I put Kate in the 'evil agenda' pile a while back. All her good deeds seem like ways to ingratiate herself to me. And I know there's been a few examples where this can't be true - saving the marshall, for example - I still don't trust her.
I'm not sure Kate knows what her agenda is. She often seems motivated by the good of others. She manipulated the bank robbers but defended the bank manager against them when push came to shove. she saved the old man after she'd caused the accident. she did save the marshal when she could have just let him asphixiate.
I read a lot of ambiguity in her character, but not evil.
I just saw TO'Q on L&O:CI, playing the good-guy pharmaceutical CEO who was betrayed by his flunkies who redistributed AIDS-tainted blood to Thailand instead of destroying it like they were supposed to. Good actor.
watched Lost this am. With everybody who did not like the flashback. I think they could have cut them inhalf and done the same thing. Yay for fast forward.
If there are Others , why would Ethan come alone? and would he really not expect them to come up with some sort of a plan?
but really, the only part that bugged me was Jack winning the fight - when he went down so badly before.
as for Charlie's motivations- what he said out loud was part, but only the part he thought about - not his entire motivation.
and Boone - gives me the slimy heebee geebees- he looks and acts like a far gone alcoholic
Aww, I just got a little bit spoiled on the frontpage of ABC's Lost site. Don't go if you don't want what could be a good moment.
Thanks for the heads up. I used to love reading and seeing pictures of spoilers, but now I like being kept mostly in the dark. It ups the HSQ.
Maybe it isn't even a big deal, but it isn't something I'd have pulled from this week's commercial, which is about as spoiled as I'm trying to be, as an experiment.
Getting all twitchy! I think Lost is getting to be my favorite hour of the week. I've refused invitations to watch it upstairs on my friend's HD tv, because I don't like screaming at other people's tvs. I make others come here.
Poor Sawyer.
