Mia,
watch the movie. Then come back here and bitch about it. We will empathize.
Sheesh, I have to watch the movie? That seems like a lot of work. Can't I just have the cliff notes version? I was all ready to bitch about it now.
Anyway, I have faith that the twist will be really good. And I'm in the camp that thinks this is some kind of alternate dimension/Bermuda-like triangle thingie.
Jessica,
(laughing) okay, you made me feel better. I really should have been laughing at the end of the movie, not cussing. :-)

I started a meara, but ... there was too much. I had fun reading through all the posts, though. Thread makes me happy.
Read The Stand, but I seem to remember only very disturbing snippets. Did not read Watership Down. Might do.
I don't think they're dead. I just don't. Kind of on the, "It's the first tricksy thing that occurred to me, so they're not going to do that." premise. Who knows, though ... maybe they've thought of a way to make it interesting. In any case, I don't think they're dead.
My theory about Jack and his father is slightly different than what I've read here ... I think he did something like turn his father in for doing something doctory while under the influence, casuing his father to flee in shame. I do think Jack's a doctor, but I think there are ... issues.
Loving the new thread title.
The
Identity
spec is a little worrying. For those unfamiliar, who can bear being spoiled on the movie:
All the potential suspects/victims for a serial-killer mystery were each a persona of a Multiple Personality Disorder nut case. The entire thing took place in the nutcase's head.
Gus, thank you. :)
I agree that if that were to happen it would be extremely disappointing, but I really doubt that they're gonna go that way.
And, the new thread title is perfect.
Thanks, Gus. That would be ew. It's not happening here. I know because I have my fingers crossed.
We have a thread title. I am happy.
For the record, my first reaction to
Identity
was, "Does
every
movie have to have a Ginormous Plot Twist nowadays?" In the end, though, I think I like it. It's a fun movie and people die and it's creepy.
That being said,
Lost
should not be like that.
Then again, it would allow the next thread title to be
OMGWTFMPD
.
Almost worth it for that alone, P-C. And thanks Hec.
