Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I've seen it--it's treated as a joke that they met while she was in high school. Kinda freaky. I have a huge squick about adult/Kid relationships, yet these couples don't squick me at all. My friend in high school was 16 and she was 22, so there wasn't a huge age gap and they didn't start seeing each other until he was out of her class, which might have made a difference.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Heh -- actually, I think Frank was talking about this:

One of Jason's friends is a couple who met when she was in high school and she was her teacher

OH my God it is SUCH a more interesting story if my typo was true. Sadly no, though.

Yep. I usually resist jumping on typos, but if they get an audible laugh out of me, I gotta comment.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm probably not going to get to see this 'til tomorrow.

ION, did you see the SciFi Wire story on the Lost party/fundraiser?

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Hola. I'm skipping way ahead (I'm back in the 2200's in my catch-up) to note that thanks to the amazing generosity of Laura Holt, I'm now caught up with the Lost episodes, and am enjoying myself immensely. I plan on taping tonight's episodes, and I hope to be able to provide a preview breakdown. (It won't be immediately posted, because I also watch Alias ). I do have one question: since some have pointed out that the previews are kind of spoily, should I post the breakdown in spoiler font, or would the discussion it would generate get too laborious to follow in spoiler font. Our stated policy is that anything broadcast is fair game, but I thought I would ask anyway .

What is even happening?

Jeff! (I have no answer for you, that doesn't already appear in the last sentence of your post, but it's nice to see you here, again).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I vote for fair game.
