Peter was the Harpo Marx Monkee. Peter Tork went on to become a high-school teacher, if I'm not mistaken.
How this correlates to Hobbitness, I'm not sure. Merry?

Davey Jones was already small enough to be a hobbit...Or on Buffy.
Oh! That would have been a guest star, now wouldn't it?
Davy Jones as Jonathan's dad...
Can he be an avenging dad, bent on helping the cause?
He will HAVE to do something about the monobrow, though. The bangs hid it. With shorter hair, it's there for all to see, and it's pretty scary.
Davy Jones as Jonathan's dad...Ohhh! Oooh! Oh!
Can he be an avenging dad, bent on helping the cause?Well, he may be avenging. He may be bent. But? Buffyverse. Fathers? Evil.
See, Peter was the weird one, and Elijah's kind of...weird.
I always thought of Peter as the sweet but dim one. Davy was the cute one, which kinda leaves Dom out, I think. Mike was the smart Monkee, and Mickey was the funny one (I think).
I don't know about teaching school, but I know Mike Nesmith became a film producer - REPO MAN among other movies. And Mickey was the voice of Arthur on the animated TICK.
Didn't one of Mike's folks invent White Out or Liquid Paper?
Mike's mom, as I recall.
His mother invented Liquid Paper.
