Punishingly Intricate

Elijah = Davy. Dom = Mike. Billy = Peter.

I think this is right.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I know, I just think it's funny.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I think Sean=Mike, Elijah=Davy, Dom=Mickey, Billy=Peter.

Mike was the seriousest one, who left early. Mickey was goofy on-camera but had been in showbiz forEVER (Circus Boy, anybody?). Actually, that could put Elijah as Mickey. I think Billy's a lock for Peter, though. And Dom could be Davy, easy.

What is even happening?

okay now I'm recasting the Monkees as Hobbits! Clearly Sam = Mickey Dolenz. What about the others? Um...
Elijah = Davy. Dom = Mike. Billy = Peter.

Oh, I'd have Dom as Mickey, Elijah as Davy, Sean Austin as Mike, and Billy as Peter.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

See, Peter was the weird one, and Elijah's kind of...weird.

Elijah's kind of...weird

See I was thinking of the Hobbits they played not of the actors.

But I have never been able to get past the first chapter of the Fellowship of the Ring so I'm no expert.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

(Circus Boy, anybody?)

I loved Circus Boy when I was a kid. It also had Noah Beery (Jim Rockford's dad) in it.

What is even happening?

I was thinking of the Hobbits they played, too. I just used everyone's real name, because everyone else had used all real first names, except for Sean's.
