Lorne: You know what they say about people who need people. Connor: They're the luckiest people in the world. Lorne: You been sneaking peeks at my Streisand collection again, Kiddo? Connor: Just kinda popped out.

Punishingly Intricate

DM is halfway to being a Monkee anyway, in my heart, so why not?

okay now I'm recasting the Monkees as Hobbits! Clearly Sam = Mickey Dolenz. What about the others? Um...

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Reality = fiction = reality

That's a fine line that I stomp all over. (Hey, back when LOTR was still being released I learned to write in tengwar - the elvish script. Yes, I know I'm a geek, but, hey, fun!)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

ETA: Ooooh, the promo for next week's Lost showed a bodybag. I guess it could be Ethan, but woo! Color me excited and a bit nervous!

Thank God for bodybag smugglers !

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm not reading the whitefont because while I can't not watch a promo, I know they give away more than I usually like to know, so it's fun to watch an episode without having seen the promo. That being said, I am terribly amused by the certainty that Matt's whitefont includes the word "smugglers."

Art Crawl!!!

I love promos. Where did you guys see a promo? Apparently, where there isn't new Lost, Alias or Desperate Housewives, I don't watch ABC.

I will also be one of the rubes who buys the Driveshaft album.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

beathen, my friends and I were learning Elvish and writing in Elvish script in college twenty*cough* years ago. You are part of a long and proud tradition.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

I actually had a former roommate tell me she was "worried" about me when I could proudly write her name in Elvish.

Thrive to spite them

Writing in Elvish is a vaulable skill. Really.

My first serious boyfriend was very into Tolkien and knew how to write in Elvish. For a birthday or anniversary he gave me a book that he inscrbed with a quote about Beren and (blanking on the name) in Elvish and then translated into English (although I would have picked a more romantic book to put the inscription in it was one of his favorites). It was very romantic and always gave me a thrill.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

okay now I'm recasting the Monkees as Hobbits! Clearly Sam = Mickey Dolenz. What about the others? Um...

Dom = Davy. Elijah = Peter. Billy = Mike.

No, that's not quite right...

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Elijah = Davy. Dom = Mike. Billy = Peter.

My two cents.
