"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Just because I want to, um, research it.

Liar pants.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Well, it was NIIICE kiss and I need a new desktop.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have it as one of my icons on LJ, Robin.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

We even have the big banyan trees.

OMG! I LOVE those trees. The only time I would ever see them was when I would visit my grandparents in Florida.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Kathy, thanks for the link to that interview--that's one of the best articles on Dom that I've read. One line confused me:

He soon proved so popular that the show's producers made an unusual public pledge that Charlie would never be killed.

Does anyone remember this? I'd never heard of it before.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, I forget where I heard about that, probably somewhere on TWoP. It's why at the end of "All Good Cowboys Have Daddy Issues" I was screaming, "You made a PROMISE, J.J.! YOU LIED!"

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think it was originally a TV Guide quote from the producers. At any rate, they could pretty much designate Craphole Island for H-bomb tests and Charlie would come crawling out of the rubble asking what happened.

Stamos talking about how open he is to "real girls" with their "fresh, unjaded outlook" skeeved me more, frankly.

After you've tried dating women in Los Angeles for a while, you'd probably find this comment less skeevy. Actresses can, on occasion, make you long for "real girls."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know, maybe, three girls (though I'm sure they'd rather be called women) with a fresh unjaded outlook. At least one of them's an actress.

IT can be a harsh world too, yo.
