Lost is the cover story for the new TV Guide, which is doing the semi-regular stunt of having six different covers (one each for Jack, Kate, Charlie, Locke, Sayid, and Sawyer). There are pics, a quiz and a "pilot's reality check" online, but I'm guessing there's a more indepth story available in the issue itself.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh dear. I took the quiz and I'm Snickerbitch.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

The New York Post says:

'Lost' backlash
Fans are in an uproar over a dropped plot line involving a kidnapped (and pregnant!) castaway, an anticlimactic episode built around a locked suitcase, and a sound trouncing in the ratings by "American Idol." Backlash has begun setting about "Lost's" lazy writing - as well as a sneaking suspicion "mastermind" J.J.Abrams has no idea where his story is going.

Bah on backlash. These are people who don't want to wait for answers--they can watch L&O or CSI if they want all the info in 42 minutes. I saw an article linked at TWoP written by someone bitching that they haven't explained what's up with the little airplane that Kate pulled that heist for. Well, I'll be happy if they explain it sometime before the show ends, as long as they explain some other things sooner. Oh, and even though I wasn't happy about the way that the castaways seemed to not worry about Claire's disappearance (except for Charlie), I didn't think that they'd dropped the plotline by any means!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I was Shannon too, which is really bizarre because I only gave her answer for the first question.

most likely to give birth to the Antichrist.

made me laugh.

The backlash can bite me.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Fans are in an uproar over a dropped plot line involving a kidnapped (and pregnant!) castaway,

It was dropped? When? Did I miss a memo?

an anticlimactic episode built around a locked suitcase,

Not a great ep, but huh?

and a sound trouncing in the ratings by "American Idol."

Do we care?

Backlash has begun setting about "Lost's" lazy writing -

As opposed to American Idol's?

as well as a sneaking suspicion "mastermind" J.J.Abrams has no idea where his story is going.

Okay, that's a fair cop...
