Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

-t...

Walt told Michael what the secret was in the following ep:

I believe it was something like "we are on this island for a reason."

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Walt told Michael what the secret was in the following ep:

It was "a miracle happened here".

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It was "a miracle happened here".

Does this phrase scream "dreidel!" to anyone else?

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Ha!

Edit: Actually, I keep mentally revising it to "A great battle happened here!" complete with Prince Humperdinck mincing around in the dust.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Jessica, I was just thinking that.

Our wings are not tired.

has anything been made of the fact that his name is John Locke?

There was a mention of it up thread, along with Rousseau.

And Jack's last name is Shepherd. (His father's name: Christian Shepherd)

The sheer number of odd names makes me believe that TPTB just want to give us lots of stuff to obsess over.

Skimmed through because of lack of hours in the day issues. The episode was so damn fine. From Michael ripping my heart out covering for Evil!Adopted dad to the excellent job they did with younger Michael.

Boone's mental state at the hands of Locke is spooky.

I watched with GF who asked me what ponce meant. Hee.

Our wings are not tired.

Also, I think the reason for Hurley's nickname was apparent last week.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Boone's mental state at the hands of Locke is spooky.

He truly looked like one of the Manson family, IMO. Cree. Pee.
