February 9th is a long time. Dammit. I really do heart Fury's eps.
Lost: OMGWTF POLAR BEAR
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Alias: that's not Lena Olin in those pictures.
AHAHAHA!!! My Mom's comment, post-episode (we call each other when it's over, like we did with Buffy and Angel):
Mom: "Well, Boone sure is under Locke's spell now."
Me: "He's pretty much Locke's bitch."
Mom: "I think that they'll *all* be Locke's bitches by the end of the season. Maybe they'll have t-shirts that say 'I Am Locke's Bitch, Don't Fuck With Me'."
I really do heart Fury's eps.
And it's not as if he hasn't used the word "ponce" in a script before.
SO GOOD.
It's writing like this that I miss, in these post-Joss-television days. Little things. Like, Michael snapping at someone who calls Walt "different", then later Brian saying he's "different" and then we know why. Nonlinear stuff, that you don't find in lesser shows. Not just the HSQ, although this one episode had more genuine HSQ than entire seasons of many shows do.
Really liked this episode.
Also glad to see that Harold Perrineau's luck with Close Encounters of the Bear Kind has improved the second time around. That was quite the tense sequence.
I think Claire still had a big belly, but not 100% sure.
Maybe they'll have t-shirts that say 'I Am Locke's Bitch, Don't Fuck With Me'
The Teppy mom is funny.
Now I want such a T-shirt.
Couldn't believe Claire just showed up! And what's with the rerun next week? Don't tease me, ABC! I need closure!
Maybe they'll have t-shirts that say 'I Am Locke's Bitch, Don't Fuck With Me'."
I like your mom.
Nothing more to say since my head feels like it's about to explode, and my throat feels like chopped meat. And so far Point Pleasant isn't making me feel at all better.
The Teppy mom is funny.
She really is. (Though she doesn't see the HoYay. Not in BTVS, not in Angel, not in Lost.)
Aw yeah, this was a great episode. I was all tensed up at the end there, with the weird shimmery polar bear and all. And OMGWTF Claire! I couldn't tell if she was still pregnant or not, though.
Why did Walt's mom keep Michael's letters and pictures from him? And what the fuck was Brian's problem? "Sure, his mom died yesterday and I'm the only father he's ever known, but I'm sure he'll be fine and dandy with the nanny while I go running off to the US to abdicate my parental rights!" I mean, I know he was creeped out by Walt, but dude, he's still a kid, and his MOM just died. Christ. (Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking Walt might have had something to do with his mom's illness.)
