So, Walt's ability to manipulate things started before his arrival on the island. Freaky. Maybe that's why he's there, why they're all there. He wished something when the plane started going down and poofed them all onto the island.

Like maybe Walkt didn't want to go back with his dad. If that's the case, I think the raft plan is extra doomed.

He was looking at the picture of the bird, and one crashed into the window. He was looking at the Oso Polar, and one shows up on the island.
He was kinda pissy when the bird thing happened. Is there a cornfield on the island?
