I think also, having figured out that they're not so very different after all, we'll see more of him getting a charge out of making her reveal that side, to him at least. I'd expect theres a roiling mixture of amusement, admiration, and bitterness that she's so far managed to keep her less pretty bits hidden, while his are out there for all to see.

Yeah, I'm going to be interested in seeing Jack and Kate and Sawyer and Kate's interactions next episode.

If they address it....

Yikes, so Sawyer really IS Spike.
If they address it....
The way their trust issues keep bouncing all over the map, Kate and Jack may be snuggling by the fire and confiding in each other next episode with no explanation. I mean, "Whatever the Case May Be" gave Jack plenty of reason to be distrustful of Kate, but that vibe was building without cause or explanation for a couple of episodes beforehand. It would've made sense if he'd been distrustful of her from the moment he found the mug shot, but there were intermediate episodes where he was all forgive and forget and they acted like best buddies.

That's just to set Jack up as the great Pollyanna that he is. He may have threatened Sawyer in this last episode, but I don't personally think he would have followed through. So, he does the same thing with Kate. Despite the fact he's getting a better understanding of the way Kate works, he doesn't really want to believe it.
A silly thing I noticed about last week's episode:
Kate's alias was "Maggie Ryan", i.e., "Margaret Ryan" or possibly "Meg Ryan".
All her aliases end with "e" and notice the similarity of the last two...
Kate
Annie
Maggie
So, you're thinking that her real name begins with an "E"? Eileen? Edna? Elyse?
more on the point of: Is there some deeper meaning to her aliases? Why not Gina, Jenny, Sarah, etc? All her names so far have been very similar.
