Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Nothing to do with logic, more the fact that the images are sort of brain searing.

Oh, I totally get that the big waves on the show had a lot more visual impact after the last few weeks' news. Especially with the people frantically dragging their few belongings away from them.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Sawyer is damn cute. Odd that he didn't take off his pants to swim. What's up with that?

Maybe Sawyer didn't take his pants off because he's going commando.

this was totally my thought.

also agreeing with whoever said that Kate didn't know what was in that safety deposit box when she thought up the scheme of holding up the bank. not to mention that she probably couldn't just walk into the bank and use her key because she was already on the run from the law.

it's also entirely possible that the "man she loved/man she killed" was her father. the plane was an army plane, right? she's an army brat, remember?

I'm not sure *why* he didn't take his pants off. Wet jeans are nasty-uncomfortable.

it was probably just a case of censors and the like here. they had many shots in there when he was swimming that would have been...mighty racy. not that i would have minded, but yeah.

that's all i've got. back to work.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

the plane was an army plane, right?

Not necessarily. It's been used as both a military and a civilian transport. The model was of the civilian version.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I almost hate to bring this up on this board, but I think they're setting Boone up to be gay, not a sister-lovin' pervert.

Consider the way that Shannon asked Boone if Locke was his boyfriend. The emphasis was all wrong for her to be mocking him for being gay. She was mocking him for choosing Locke. Also, consider that she called him "God's Gift To Women," but unlike the other dudes on the island, he has yet to cast smoldering looks at any women but his sister, and those could be well be angry smoldering looks, not sexy ones.

I was kinda disappointed with the episode, though. I wanted Kate to just fucking kill either Sawyer or Jack. That would have been peachy.

They seem to be hinting, but I think its probably a mislead.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Also, consider that she called him "God's Gift To Women,"

I believe the phrase she used was "God's Friggin' Gift to Humanity."

Art Crawl!!!

Which, I thought, was about all his volunteer activities and search and rescue stuff.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

They seem to be hinting, but I think its probably a mislead.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. Because I really dislike Boone -- possibly even more than Snickerbitch -- so I wouldn't mind it if he died horribly. Making the character gay and then killing him would be problematic from a meta point of view. On the other hand, they're not trying very hard to make him likable, either.

Or maybe that's the actor, who I find dull and, quite frankly, unattractive. I'd rather have a couple more Sawyers.

I'm trying to imagine two or more Sawyers sharing that relatively small area. Would they compete with one another in the studly redneck badboy competition? Would they join forces? Would they fight over who got to snog Sayid?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

They can make Boone gay and more likable and I could stop reading interviews with the actor, xor they can kill him. (Or a third thing I haven't thought of, of course. That would probably be best)

Actually, I'll stop reading interviews regardless. He irritates through the printed page more effectively than I would have guessed.
