Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I somehow missed this Boston Herald article about Josh Holloway (Sawyer):

That they do. The love triangle already has sparked heated debates among the show's followers and begun to make a sex symbol out of the recently wed Holloway.

``I don't know how to feel about that,'' he said. ``I see that that is Sawyer's role to a point, but I don't view myself that way at all. I'm a dude, and I think my chin is big and my body ain't Brad Pitt.''

I'm just glad I'm not trying to chase around my dead father in a fit of CRAZY.

I think that the next time they have Jack going on an uncontrolled run through the jungle (and c'mon, you know there will be a next time), they should have him make that Daffy Duck hooting sound as he flails amongst the shrubbery.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay -- who's worse -- Jack or JRM from Bend It Like Beckham?

Enquiring minds, and all that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I may have to go back and rewatch both, but I think JRM is worse. Jack was doing a funny to watch panic! Run! throughtrees!, but JRM just runs like a 12 year old girl.

(No offense to 12 year old girls intended)

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I just watched the Charlie ep. That was pretty good, really. I'm pretty much head over heels for Locke, though. He's my secret way-too-old for me boyfriend.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Well, how about "a stereotypical 12 year old girl" then? Hee.

Yeah, Jack's run was more in the overexcited muppet style. Frantic but not particularly girly.

I get the feeling from descriptions that JRM might have given Simon Tam's arms-akimbo-lifting-imaginary-petticoats run some competition.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm going to have to rewatch Firefly just to see Simon Tam run like a girl in petticoats. Can't believe I missed that.

I think it's in "Safe." He runs as if he's chest deep in invisible water, with his arms being bouyed up by invisible water wings.
