After next week's new one, ABC will be showing the two hour pilot intact the next week, December 15th.
Apparently for the six or seven people who missed it.
that leaves twoeps between then and the Alias premere/ Concidering it's the holidays, I'm speculating that it will be preempted or reruns/
I wonder if they will premiere Alias after a new ep of Lost to get the best lead-in. Alias isn't a show they would want to start in the earlier time slot, even for the season premiere. Gah, I should check the listed time.

They are showing
Alias
after
Lost
on Wednesdays. Whatever's normally on at 10 pm on the night of the
Alias
premier will get moved or not shown. (In my understanding from the commercials.) And after the premier they will be shown back to back with
Lost
going first.
And why is it that Claire can find a hairbrush but Kate cannot?
Kate and Claire had that cute conversation in which Claire lamented lack of a hairbrush among all the luggage. Perhaps she found one.
Kate's hair is always so beautifully tousled. I covet it.
God, me too.

This is the only part of your information I was unsure of, hence my bet-hedging speculation at 3am my time, when I should have been asleep.
Wheee! DH managed to snag a tape from work, so I have finally seen Raised by Another. The quality of the acting in this show continues to amaze me -- you almost don't realize how pedestrian most television acting is until you see something as beautifully nuanced as [memfault] the actress playing Claire this past week. And Dom too, was just wonderful.
the actress playing Claire
Emilie de Ravin, I think.
As a dedicated Survivor watcher, I totally buy the hair thing. There are always some survivor folks who really care about looks and they put in the extra time (Bathing in the ocean, hand-plucking eyebrow hairs, etc.) to look as good as possible. There are others who clearly give up on that and put their energy into all the other stuff.
And Dom too, was just wonderful.
Every time I think he's hit the peak of his acting ability he totally reaches a higher level. The LOTR Dom was really good, but the
Lost
Dom is AMAZING! He almost made me cry during Wednesday's show. (Yes, I know I'm sappy)

Plus, by episode 3 or 4, he totally lost all hobbitness in my mind. It doesn't get in my way at all, which it did in the first few eps, only b/c -- 3 movies, key character, etc. He's totally Charlie now, though.
When I rewatch LOTR he looks so young because of the lack of facial hair.
