Yeah, but Rudolph was a rerun...

(OK, I'm a little late. Still.)
I vote Boone off the island. And, yeah, where
is
Rose? And, like Steph (I think), I thought Shannon gave a great delivery of the "not moving to the rape caves" line.
I'm not yet worried about the fact that there are a lot of balls in the air. The Jungle of Mystery is vast enough to... um, keep them aloft? Whatever. I'm not worried, is my point.
I adored the Hurley/Sawyer scene. There will be no killing of either one.
And, while I agree that they're all looking mightly spiffy for a couple of weeks on a tropical island, I rather appreciate it, so I'm just sidestepping the issue instead of worrying about suspension of disbelief. I don't care, 'cause pretty.
I wonder if Scott and Steve are going to turn out to be a gay couple...
With all the HSQ, the oddness, the polar bear, the foamyness, and everything else, I'm thinking maybe Lost is set on Buffista Island.
There'd be more corsets in the luggage if it were Buffista Island. And more books.
And duct tape.
Maybe we're on the other end of the Island.
We can be scary and mysterious, sometimes.
On the weight loss thing - that backstage video diary thing that was on The Insider had Kate (EL?) talking about that. She said the actors all discussed that if they tried anything like that, they would be sure to go only as far as they felt safe, health-wise. She said that for herself, there wasn't much margin that she was willing to cut into. It sounded like there wasn't anything contractually requiring any weight-loss.
She said that for herself, there wasn't much margin that she was willing to cut into.
Well, at least she's honest! (She's right, she's already so skinny she's got nowhere to go but anorexia.)
Dang it, cleo's recap spoiled me for Veronica Mars! I am on tape delay - or in this case TiVo delay. I wrote a comment asking her not to spoil current VM eps, or at least put it in white[font] or something.
ETA forgot to mention the ENORMOUS SHOUT OUT to my boyfriend in this ep - Locke is from Tustin, CA - same place as my BF! We were like 'OMG, Tustin'!
I half expect Ethan to fall over, injured, with Walt holding a knife.
I lived in Tustin for a year when I was a kid. Strikes me as the perfect place for someone like Locke, trapped in a cubicle. It was all very cookie-cutter.
Can they bring Tim in as a guest-writer to wield his shiny scythe, as long as he doesn't kill the characters I like?
Um, you know if it's Tim, he's gonna kill the characters you DO like, so you might want to re-think that. Also, misdirects proven not to work with Tim. He's a smart one, that Doyle killer.
