Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, and hey - no ballady montage at the end! Better and better.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, yeah, and it was another eye episode. Is there any discernable pattern? 'Cause we overanalyze like that.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

And Claire's child is going to be The One Who Will Save Us from Evil

Hmmm. An Annointed One. Still want to know what the evil is, though. And I'm not sure it (and I'm thinking the island, here) is an evil. More a force of nature, which is only good/evil in some kind of imposed context.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Locke did totally already know about the passenger thing, huh? Do you think? From his reaction?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Maybe Locke's real last name is Holtz.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

It's have to be Qortoth for the 'Miracle Child' to do much more than gurgle for a while.

It does make me scared for Claire, though. She's so good and pure and all. How long can that last?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Gah! I'm seriously scared for Claire and Charlie and the baby. I was just thinking, how adorable Charlie was, and how much I loved him. Then I thought, "well, of course he's probably evil then." Now I'm thinking, "that means he is going to DIE!!!"

AIIIEEEE!

This show is seriously BRINGING IT now.

I'm afraid, seriously, I will have dreams about it tonight. And I want Nyquil (taken in the manufacturer's recommended exact dose) peaceful sleep. Stupid good TV show, getting into my subconcious.

Alse, re: Locke's eyes in Claire's first dream: I was pretty sure there was one black eye AND one white eye. Very creepy. And what did he say to Claire?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

All I ask is that the baby doesn't age rapidly and then sleep with Kate, who would then wind up giving birth to Gina Torres.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

She's so good and pure and all. How long can that last?

Actually, it's already being stripped away. Or, metaphorically, she's getting layers. Tonight, she was totally unsnuggly with Charlie, all, "Don't rescue me, bitch." It reminds me now of early Fred. Well, middle Fred. Pylea Fred totally wanted to be rescued. Early L.A. Fred made toaster axe things.
