Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

So yes. I don't know what folks are doing the weekend of April 1 but, if you have it free, you might want to look into coming to LA.

There's gonna be a part-ay.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hmm. Be in Los Angeles, in April? Maybe that would be doable.

Mommy! Lee is taunting the geographically challenged.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Robin, Anne, and Nutty, thanks for the Arabic Nadias! Lovely meanings, too. I feel much better about that now! Steph and Lyra Jane, yeah, Queen Noor is where I knew the name from, too. She was Lisa Halaby, and her husband gave her the name Noor. What a fairy-tale story, and a happy ending too. (Well, not ended yet, but happy. I hear.) I'm glad to know I can keep my male character named Noor, though.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I know it's not on this week, but they aren't doing that crappy "no shows until the New Year so as to coincide with the return of Alias" kind of thing, are they?

Well, we are getting a new ep the week after Thanksgiving.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I have an idea for a fanfic, if I can only write it before we get Michael's story...

The artistic ability and the line about him being an artist in another life got me to thinking. Suppose the reason He and his wife broke up originally was because he was a stereotypical artist and was not so much with the responsible and she couldn't count on him, or so she claimed. They break up and he's devistated. To prove he can be a stable person, he worked in construction, hoping to win her back, and be with her and Walt again. Then she died, and he wasn't completely ready for the whole fatherhood thing, much less by himself....

I really need sleep, I think.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Oh, this was much better. Lots of ME tropes - the Golf fakeout, the teaser structure (sayid can look after himself cut to sayid being hoisted) and of course, the fact that Danielle was inches from muttering "Handsome torturer, saved me from the monsters"...

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

But there's no such thing as monsters....

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)
