I must admit I worry about Claire and the baby. If either or neither doesn't survive the childbirth, it could cause much in the way of HSQ.
Hell, even if they *nearly* do, it could be edge-of seat time.
But then again, some of us have been wondering about it since the first episode.
But now with the Charlie and Claire cuteness, they've added another component.
If Claire dies, I might have to stop watching the show. Because, in typical fashion, I have somehow ended up investing the largest portion of my emotional concern for the show in a character who gets far too little face time.
ETA: I think it's her incredibly pretty eyes. And her cute accent, even if it is fakish (I really can't tell.)
Actually, the actor is Australian -- when she was on
Roswell
she faked an American accent, IIRC.
And her cute accent, even if it is fakish (I really can't tell.)
Accents slay me. Hers is real, I believe, as she actually is Australian. Just like DDK is actually Korean.
Oh, and that chin wound is cute. And as cleolinda or someone pointed out, her use of the word "Thus."
I don't understand why they would kill her
and
the baby off, though. Otherwise why make her pregnant in the first place? It's her defining characteristic.
she is, indeed, Australian. i had no idea the entire time she was on Roswell. when i found out, i went back and watched a bunch of eps and still couldn't tell. except that she tended to over-exaggerate some words.
She has also grown from "pretty" to "sexy" in just a few years. Her face seems more expressive than I remember it being when she was on Roswell.
Plus her name is Emilie and I have a thing for "-EE" names.
Oh yeah!
Lost
recap is up!
goes to read
I was the second person to vote on the TWOP Lost recap. Neener. I pulled the average grade from a B- to a B+ all by myself.
Also, now I'm trying to imagine Veronica Mars / Lost crossover scenarios that could get some Veronica/Claire femmeslash happening. Fairly sure such a thing should never be written, but the pretty...
Not liking the reviewer at TWOP, but I guess when you're named TWoP, you have to be petty.
Maybe it should be TWOPWP: Television Without Pity, W/Petty.
