Yes. Lucky for you, people may be in danger.

Eh, I don't think he's hiding the inhalers. I mean, yeah, not a nice guy, but ... withholding inhalers from someone who (conceivably) could die without them? I dunno. He doesn't strike me as that kind of evil. What benefit is SnickerBitch's death to him (and I do think he's a cost/benefit analysis kind of guy)? Yeah she's annoying, but I don't think so.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

You'd think that they would have thought to make it wet

There isn't a props manager on the planet who wouldn't have raised this question, and damned few actors. I get that CouldBe!Sawyer's backstory supports that he was seeking punishment, but there is still something fishy about his explanation of the book.

Unless they are like me, and hate to damage books.

Wrod. I had a summer job for a book distributor once, where the job was to strip off covers for returns. It literally (pun!) gave me nightmares.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The characters get countrified. Make sure to read the comments for some more hilarious suggestions, like Boonegladesh.

"Come on! Look at you. You got that bed head thing going on, which McKay's probably got something to do with. You're tall, lean and you sound drunk a lot of the time. Hell, son, you're making me horny!"

No, I believed him when he revealed that he didn't have the inhalers, but really, if you have that much need to be self-flagellated there are easier ways to go about it.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Eh, maybe he found the book on the edge of the beach, and didn't realize it wouldn't look like that if it'd actually washed up on shore?

I never thought he had the inhalers, and kept telling the people on my tv to tie him up and search his stuff before resorting to torture.

Stupid tv people never listen to common sense, though. ::grumps unattractively::

This would have been almost as good as please. I had a non- Lost -fan at my place yesterday, and she was literally yelling "stop!" Not working wonders for the headache I had at the time, let me tell you, but I was empathetic anyway.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The only possible fanwank I can figure for that book is that it was new, in a pouch, that happened to be waterproof.

Maybe with the inhalers.

OK, I confess. I have the inhalers. Damn that meddlesome Korean woman and her herbal interventions. Snicker Bitch must DIE!

I like that they established Sun's love of plants in earlier eps so we wouldn't say it was an asspull.
