Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

and a Mysterious figure (female?) is seen preparing a hypodermic, and Sayid is all "Who are you?"

Oooo. Needle. Torture. Female. I had this discussion back in the movie thread a while back.

Given Locke's insinuation about Sawyer to Sayid, I'm leaning toward Locke being the wielder of the stick that knocked Sayid out in last episode. OR Locke is in league with the mysterious force that doesn't want anyone to get off the island.

Fine, Boone gets a pass in this episode from me. But I'm watching you, eyebrow boy.

I didn't want Sawyer's past to be all woobie-riffic, but ah, well. Gotta admit, that was one of the hottest kisses I had the pleasure of seeing on small screen. Yowza.

Up with the sun

I came in at about 8:40. Anyone want to fill me in on everything before the kiss?

I got the impression that the torture/needle scene was flashback.

Ah. It went by too quickly for me. I miss a lot of detail. We'll find out for sure next week! t Rubs hands gleefully.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That was a great episode. Best since "Walkabout."

CHARLIE AND CLAIRE ARE SO ADORABLE.

I don't feel sorry for Sawyer. I think he genuinely is "screw the world and all the people in it," and I don't actually think he wants pity. He's, you know, fine with being a jackhole. I suppose they'll go for more than that -- and maybe they were even trying --- but I kind of wish they wouldn't. I mean, there are a lot of jackholes in the world, so why try to redeem this one? Sometimes you just have to deal with them, so let the islanders have to deal.

ETA: which is perhaps confusing, because I do think the whole "can't screw the kid" moment was too gooey. But, but ... it was really more about himself than the kid. He was feeling sorry for himself-as-kid, so there's exactly one scenario in the world where he won't go full throttle. Not really all that sympathetic.

Now, of Sayid? I'm a fangirl.

All is well that ends in pizza.

LOL

Um, there will likely be a recap up, somewhere....

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Cleolinda will have her recap up soon, one hopes.

Oh, yeah. I'm all for leaving him unredeemed, at least willingly. And, not soon. NO WOOBIFICATION!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Shannon couldn't breathe because of her asthma. Her extra inhalers were in the same bag as Watership Down, so Boone accused Sawyer of taking them. Then Jack accused Sawyer of taking them. Then Jack and Sayid accused Sawyer of taking them, and tortured him to find out where they were, but Sawyer would only tell Kate. If she kissed him. Meanwhile in this week's flashback, Sawyer was running a con game on Dom DeLuise's son and a woman who looks remarkably like Emma Caulfield.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Charlie and Claire are very cute. Have they said when Claire is due?

Really, really good kiss.
