Yep, JenP. It's scheduled to run long all the time.
Oh, by the way, I found a way to get around the lack of option to record '1 minute later' on TiVo, for those of you wanting to record Jack and Bobby or TWW at 9 pm.
Basically, you use the Manual Recording option:
- On "Pick Programs to Record" screen, select "Record by Time or Channel"
- Select "Manually Record Time/Channel"
- Select "Repeating", "Every Wed", and the channel your next show's on.
- On "Start Time" on the bottom left, select "9:05 pm" (it only lets you go 9:00, 9:05, 9:10, etc) and select 10:00 pm as the end time.
- After you select that as a "season pass" (Which would read as "Manual: Jack and Bobby" for example), you can go to the season pass option and opt to start recording "4 minutes earlier", which will let TiVo change the channel at 9:01.
It's damned cumbersome, and doesn't let the machine screen out the hiatus/repeats, but at least I don't have to remember to change the channel afterward.
(Edited to fix wonky formatting.)
Also, beathen, I've sent you an email to your profile addy re. translation.

Is that why West Wing never records? Fuck.
My decision to buy a second TiVo to handle conflicts doesn't seem at all that silly in retrospect.
Ah ha! Vonnie, I'd done the first four of those steps, and felt all S-M-R-T but cranky at TiVo for only allowing the 5 minute increments. Your fifth step - brilliant!
Tiptoes into thread. Sits in corner, puts on comfy clothes, and waits for show to start.
So, y'all watch and post?
I just watched last week's ep. It was so good - my favorite so far. Can't watch to watch this week.
So, y'all watch and post?
I watch, wait for commercials, and post. There are laptop issues, so desktop PC it is for me.
The previews make tonight look awesome. I hope they aren't just clever editing.
Same here, JenP. I'd had my downstairs (it's all pretty much one room) arranged to where I could see the TV from my desk/computer, but a friend rearranged the furniture while I was on vacation. Now my desk is tucked under the stairs to the loft and I can't see the TV clearly. Unfortunately, the new arrangement actually makes better use of the space, so I'm loathe to change it.
