I think both Boone and Shannon have potential as well, but it depends how they develop the characters. I think having Boone be the good kid who gets his sister out of trouble all the time but is actually a fuck up could be interesting, as could the dynamic between the two.

I should be feeling uncomfortable about my fascination with fictional bad-boys, but no. Sawyer and Logan from VM are totally having a Spike-off in my head, and I can't help but loving them both.
What Vonnie said. VM seems to be based a lot on the "people aren't what they seem" idea. Weevil is obviously supposed to be the thug with a good heart, but I like it that they are letting us find some redeeming value with Logan, while still keeping him pretty evil.
why did I just get a Ben/Glory vibe off of what you just said?
t runs screaming from the thread
Yeah, I guess what I mean is that I see real potential there, and (unlike many others) I don't find Boone annoying to the point of not caring about him anymore. I like that he's unpredictable, that he wants to help others (and thinks he is) but that he doesn't often know the right way to go about it. I even like his relationship with Shannon, and I wonder how different he is when he's not around her all the time. So far he's come off as fairly immature, and yet--he owns a business? I'm definitely looking forward to learning more about him.
t follows Nora
Noooo, not like that. I just like it that the sibling who is supposed to be responsible is, so far, the bigger screwup.

Heh. Spoken like someone who's never seen an episode of The Apprentice.
don't worry Lee, it was my own brain. Sadly I cannot run away from that. Without whiskey, anyway. Which I appear to be sadly lacking here at work.
JJ Abrams will be on The Treatment, a KCRW radio show at 2:30 PST today. Should be able to listen to it online from that link.
I figure this crowd might get a chuckle out of something I posted to TwoP's "Letters to the Lost" forum thread:
Dear Sawyer,
If you want to have an engaging homoeroticism-laced rivalry with the darkly handsome goody-two-shoes lead of your show over the woman you're both ostensibly interested in, it's best to snidely insult him to his face rather than behind his back.
Best regards,
