I like the flashbacks when they are skillfully integrated and used to tell us something new and interesting about the character and his/her dynamic in the group. Plus, I am multiple timeline's bitch.
Pretty much the only flashback I didn't like was the one about Charlie. I LOVED getting the backstory on Locke & Sun and found the Jack & Kate ones fairly interesting as well.
Usually, I dislike moustache/beard in men, but Sayid is totally hotter with facial hair.
Thanks Zenkitty. Hey, I wonder if we're related. Oh, wait. I made up my username. I guess that means we're probably not. Oh, well.
Hey, I made up my username, too! That proves we're related, right?
Thank you very much, P-C for the Nilly. I have marked your post for future reference.
Futhermore, I am watching Monday night football (go Colties!) and therefore am seeing Lost ads and am getting very happy about the upcoming episode and all the fighty-fight.
However, I think I need to mention that I am on-board with liking the Sawyer, as a character, before the ep airs and I'm obliged to either completely dislike him as the villain he so clearly is or forever love him as the villain he so clearly is based on whatever his backstory turns out to be. That is, I hope we're getting his backstory. His obvious character flaws (and they are grave, what with all the name-calling and such attitudes) aside, he's the guy that says what people are all thinking anyway, and I always love that character.
Anyway. I also like the flashback stuff. I didn't feel it was too anvilly. I even liked the moth. I like moths. Except for when eight hundred of them invaded my home and region a couple of years back. That sucked. I think this moth is the same moth that went to Gandalf. Except for the obvious problems of having just come out of the cocoon, and you know, time and fictional universe differences.
I think this moth is the same moth that went to Gandalf.
Might have Gollum's agent.
So, I'm turning the channel and WGN is showing Becker reruns.
Who should show up on my screen but Hurley!
Having abandoned Becker a couple of years back, I missed that season. Apparently the actor was a semi-regular.
I'm still watching Lost on tape delay so I'm a bit behind. But this whole thing with the old encampment where the source of water is, right from Pitch Black. I'm still sticking to the whole-thing-is-a-remake-of-Pitch-Black theory.
Which character is Riddick?
