from tvtome's intro:
Sayid (Naveen Andrews, The English Patient) is a Middle Eastern man who must wrestle with the racial profiling directed at him by some of his fellow survivors.
Wow. If what we've seen is racial profiling, it's the mildest RP, and lasted but a short time.
Couldn't they have summed up the character better? Ah well...
Ah, I did not notice that House of the Rising Sun and The Moth would be repeated this evening.
In fact it starts in about 10 minutes for Eastern/Central.
Excellent, now I can get these two on tape.
"It wouldn't BE an irrational fear if I could just pull myself together, now would it?!" is one of my favorite lines ever. It's the delivery. I love this episode.
I might have to tag it soon, Ashtareth, as that line just rocked.
The best actors on this show are not the leads.
No arguement on that one.
The only bad part of this episode is the endless montage to the anvilly country song.
I want the clanky monster to be Mecha-Streisand.
I think the great mass of the public likes and may actually need anvils. I'm willing to forgive the occasional anvil to keep my shows on the air.
If anvils are keeping Lost in high ratings, 'go anvils — choose anvils!' just not too often, please...
