Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Are we talking about Sawyer or jeering at the Spuffy-ists?

'Cuz I can do both.

I don't get any Woobie off Sawyer, at this point. I haven't really seen him doing any suffering yet. I am reading pique and self-interest, but not the other thing.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I do not want to woobieize Sawyer. But I am sure he is much smarter than anyone o the islad thiks he is. Sayid I like a lot, his major fault - thikig he knows what is right and expectig others to follow. He didn't really explain why the caves were a bad idea. Maybe he is claustrophobic.

I am probably the only person in the world who wants Kate to get the message that none of these guys we have met so far are firing enough neurons for her.

I wonder who Gus thinks Kate should be saving herself for.....

(No weremonkeys on the island yet)

Clearly, this is the optimal solution.

Given the imperfect nature of reality, however, I am holding out for Kate's network mandated hookup to be with someone we have not yet met.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I vote a Scott/Steve/Kate threeway.

Now we see why Polter Cow was run out of left Texas.

ALL of Kate's mens will have after-the-tag billing, at bare minimum. If it is not in her contract, she needs a taller new agent.

Our wings are not tired.

Kawyer? Sate? Kateyer?

Do Kateley or Hurlate work for you?

Matt reminds me why it is a good thing I don't bother to go to other boards. I am a huge fan 'o the Spike, but I never got worked up about any character being hateful to him. Puh-leeze.

With what we have seen so far I don't see any overwhelming evidence of a heart of gold in Sawyer. Of course in the case of the weremonkey, pure chocolate covered gold there.

(Laura has the synthesis-synopsis thing in spades.)

t swoons for the s-s thing

Hurlate

Hurley/Kate! I don't want to visualize see that, right now. Major (World-class!) props to the writers if they pull it off.

Yeah. He did look horror-struck when the marshall started gurgling and choking after his botched mercy killing, but I'd like to think that would be the minimum requirement for being considered human. No heart of gold required.

I don't know if the extremely accelerated woobification is over him looking upset by a note and reading a children's book, looking (allegedly) hot without his shirt, or if it's just people mapping their pre-existing Spike issues onto the network character that currently most resembles him. From the tone of the posts in question, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the latter is playing into it. (And I'm trying to figure out if it's also influencing my own negative response to the character, or if that's been earned by his asshattedness.)

Conservative, n. A statesman who is enamored of existing evils, as distinguished from the Liberal, who wishes to replace them with others. -Bierce

So that makes me the only one holding out for Claire's baby has two mommies?

Kate can roll her eyes when Claire is doing the baby's star chart, and Claire can roll her eyes when Kate moons after the most oblivious doctor in history.

Edit: should that be swoons?
