I think the problem is, it's possible to relocate a shoulder joint ten ways from Sunday, but half of those ways will hurt more and not work the first time, and 1/3 of them will cause the nerve to get pinched in the socket.

Or various complications like that.

There are lots of different ways to pop back a dislocated shoulder as listed here. The one I've seen used the most require sheets and two people providing traction-counter traction, but there are one-person methods. Can't recall which one Charlie was using in that ep though.

The reason Jack[I'm thinking you meant Sawyer?] said that Kate would see there was little difference between him and Jack is because:

a. They're both gay and hot after Sayid, and/or

b. They're both criminals or have committed unethical acts (four years ago?)

I'm gonna go with b. Or, you know, both a. and b. But yes indeedy, I could see the unethical acts, four years go, sliding right into place as another puzzle piece.

Have you guys been checking out the Honolulu Star-Bulletin's continuing Lost coverage? Some of the very recent articles might be a bit spoilery, but nothing I've seen yet talks about anything that hasn't already aired.

This is a nice one about Daniel Dae Kim and Yun Jin Kim and is no longer spoilery since last week's ep.

I think the thing I didn't like about this ep is that almost nothing in it took me by surprise. It all felt cliched, as well as heavy handed.

Even Sticks actually doing her job? I really hoped to hell they wouldn't go for the cliché, and they didn't.

Man, working on that set's gotta be some sweetheart deal. Attractive, interesting coworkers, generally good writing, kick-ass production values, writer-producers willing to listen to your input on development of your character, all in the setting of a tropical paradise.

I was assuming Jack, being a doctor, had assessed that the arm-pull method was the best way for his particular dislocation.
