It was in the English translation at the bottom of the screen when they talked to one another.
Lost: OMGWTF POLAR BEAR
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Weird idea in my head:
I heard that the bunnies in Watership Down have scratches or something that mark them as they split into two groups. Is it possible the scratches on people's faces are serving a similar purpose on the show? Again I have not read WD so I don't know.
So Kate will be joining the cave dwellers?
saw lost this afternoon. didn't know it could make my heart twist. ad I am really beginig to hate musical montages - esp since that is what the extra miute was wasted on. didn't really see any other wasted scenes.
In one rabbit warren -- the big one with the general - they did divide the warren by scars.
I have seen Pratchett mentioned elsewhere on the board, and is anyone else getting a small god vibe off this situation? I get the feeling that the cave group is going to be rewarded for sticking with the island, and the beach group punished for trying to escape.
For those who want to catch old episodes, I recommend the torrents at this [link] . I've filtered the list to the ones I think are the best quality, by a user named LOL.
Note the huge number of completes. I think #2 and #5 were either late or reset.
LOL's torrents are available at Suprnova, too.
alienprayer, I've been meaning to compliment you on your tag. DH loves loves loves and we have been looking for a copy of it for literally years. Actually, we found a copy at a video rental place up by Lake Tahoe, but the people we were staying with completely failed to understand how much I needed to watch it and kept making me interact with them, instead. So I still haven't seen it. But I've heard that quote a lot.
So, in the caveman vs beach dude divide, I can't decide who is supposed to be the "good guy". I mean, I don't know which side is dark and which is light, to use the backgammon metaphor. Both are deceptive, and both clearly think they are doing the "right thing".
Wouldn't it be absolutely horrendous if, at some point when all the people we know were wandering the jungle, most/all of the extras who stayed on the beach disappeared? Maybe they were rescued. Maybe the island ate them. That would be very strange.
Ooh, like the Rapture, only maybe not so nice!
You've a wonderfully wicked imagination....
