This thread is a focused discussion group. Please see the first post below for the current topic and upcoming book discussions. While natter will inevitably happen, we encourage you to treat this like a virtual book club and try to keep your posts in that spirit.
By consensus, this thread is reopened specifically to discuss Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It will be closed again once that discussion has run its course.
***SPOILER ALERT***
- **Spoilers for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows lie here. Read at your own risk***
ha! I knew this was going to be an x-post.
I'm surprised there weren't 50 posts immediately. Must be a slow day here.
Tod, since you're new, I suppose someone should point out that Nilly may well be the only person on this board whom offending or insulting will earn you the wrath of every single member of the community. Seriously. We love the woman more than pudding. And we love pudding a lot.
But I think we're all still convinced you meant no harm.
Oh, yes. I knew it wasn't meant as an insult at all, just a misunderstanding.
Though I did read Tod's post multiple times to make sure I was understanding
that
one right. Oh, Internet!
I suppose someone should point out that Nilly may well be the only person on this board whom offending or insulting will earn you the wrath of every single member of the community.
With the possible exception of Nilly herself, who tends to think the best of everyone.
And in this case, no harm done, really. Nilly said she was twelve and you took her at her word, which is all to the good. Please put your feet down. Grown-up feet are not meant for eating. (Though, if you do anyway, be aware that it may have been a while since you last did this; best brush up on your technique first).
Matilda gets a 10 for technique and an extra 9 for those faboo stripy leggings...cutiehead contortionery!
And JZ gets a gazillion for graciousness.

Awww....
So does she prefer toesies to fingers?
Baby toes!
and I am sure Harry had cute baby toes too.
She supposes her toeses are roses.
So does she prefer toesies to fingers?
She is at the stage where the entire world and all its inhabitants are defined by their chewability.
She was all about the toes for quite some time, but since she's been trying to get the hang of this walking business her toes have been too much employed for more than the occasional nibble.
Baby Harry had amazing toes, I'm quite certain, as did babies Ron, Hermione and Neville. Baby Severus, I'm less convinced.
Speaking of baby Harry - I neglected to reread any of the other Potter books before the new one came out, and now I'm really regretting it (as I've just started rereading them all now).
