***SPOILER ALERT***
- **Spoilers for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows lie here. Read at your own risk***
I've been reading through the Sugar Quill's discussion forum on DH, and someone pointed out something that I missed in my reread of the first six books:
In GoF, when Dumbledore is talking to Harry about what Harry had just seen in the Pensieve, do you remember what happened when he taked about Neville's parents? He said they were insane - and his voice was filled with a bitterness Harry had never heard there before. Well we know now why the thought of people being tortured into insanity is such a bitter one for Dumbledore.
A very interesting point.
I'm impressed that The Empress has something left that she can do innocently.
I meant to say "Thanks!" to Anne W. for that Neville-during-DH fic that she linked to upthread; it's really good, and I'm looking forward to more in that series from the author.
I can recommend some DH-fics that Fernwithy has written so far, especially the beginning of a Teddy-Lupin-goes-to-Hogwarts one that she just got started on called The Forest Guard. Some minor aspects of the story call back to the two Remus/Tonks novel-length fics she wrote titled "Shifts" and "Shades" (which I highly recommend), but it's definitely not necessary to read those to read her post-DH stories.
I've decided that if they put the whole Lavendar/Won-Won in HBP the movie, then there needs to be a vid made to "Girlfriend" by Averil Lavigne.
Someone on LJ just joked about what my Patronus would be.
I can't believe I never thought about it myself.
Ahahaha.
I wonder. I mean, I'd like it to be some sort of big cat, like a leopard. or maybe a raven or a stallion. But, I wonder what my true inner self would produce?
Yeah, that's the thing. Like, I don't think a
cow
really represents my actual personality at all.
Oooh! Fun game!
Mine would be... um. You know what I'd most want it to be because I just read Alice in Wonderland? A Cheshire Cat. Stuck in the grin phase.
Dementors: WTF it's a giant smile! Run!
