This thread is a focused discussion group. Please see the first post below for the current topic and upcoming book discussions. While natter will inevitably happen, we encourage you to treat this like a virtual book club and try to keep your posts in that spirit.

By consensus, this thread is reopened specifically to discuss Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It will be closed again once that discussion has run its course.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Scorpius Malfoy, on the other hand, is....

Maybe they can form a support group.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Scorpius Malfoy, on the other hand, is....

Maybe they can form a support group.

If, by "support group," you mean "hott gay sexx," then I think there are already many fanfics covering that very scenario.

"Oh Scorpy," sighed Albus Severus dramatically, "no one knows the pain that we know of having such lame-ass names."

"I know," exclaimed Scorpius enthusiastically. "Hold me, Albus Severus, hold me!"

(Meanwhile, Xenophilus Lovegood III was getting a wedgie on the playground for having such a weird-ass name....)

Art Crawl!!!

You mean Xenophilus Lovegood Longbottom, don't you?

It's so tough being the child to two teachers on staff.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The Albus Severus/Scorpius pairing has already taken off in fandom, partly because the pairing abbreviation is ASS.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Let's not forget that maybe Albus and Severus are normal wizarding names!

The only classmates of Harry's that we know some of what happened to them is Draco (married w/kid), Ron (married w/kids and driving license), Hermione (married w/kids), Neville (unnamed marital status, professor of Herbology), and Harry and Ginny. We can guess that Bill and Fleur had a daughter pretty quickly after the war ended (if she's old enough to snog Teddy Lupin but still be going to Hogwarts, she's most likely in her sixth or seventh year in the epilogue), but that's it.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Never clued in that Victoire was Bill and Fleur's kid.

D'uh, Aimee.

Well, James was saying that she's their cousin, so it makes sense.

Also, her name implies that she was born pretty soon after the war.

I wonder who Draco married. I don't remember, what happened to Pansy, do we know?
