Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

I was kidding! I could totally have waited!

But I'm fine with you telling too. I'm afraid I don't know about the guy in San Diego, but I see what you're saying.

Um.

Maybe Web will keep him locked in the basement as an unofficial team member.

And Rebecca gets to visit him and discuss wine?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Interesting.

When Martin had Web in his cross-hairs, it started me thinking about some scary roads Web could go down. Especially if he didn't have this keen FBI-funded behavioural lab, complete with his own little rats.

For a while I thought it was going to turn out to be one of the kids instead of Roger, especially with the missing cat, so the cat scare in the attic came as a surprise. Watching Roger drive off at the end was creee-pee. Also, I'm thinking that with eyes open and support system removed, Roger's timeline just got moved up considerably. Ew.

Now I'm off to watch OiS, because Serenity tomorrow!!!!!1!!1

Bwah!

I think it's likelier that Web will unofficially adopt his methods and station someone in the post office to track suspicious confluences of pornography and serial killer prep gear.

Continue to really like it. I think I got a friend to start watching this week.

Emily, you need a tape? I still have it on my DVR.

Caught the OMWF, loved Katie this ep, want to know more about Danny's violent past, Web continues to be creepy and love it way too much.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Chiming in to say that this is my favorite yet. And I don't know how many episodes went out to critics pre-premiere, but I'm guessing either this wasn't one of them, or if it was, most of them didn't really watch it.

Actually, I know at least one did, because she said this was the episode where Katie started to show a bit of more herself with her pride and propiatory attitude over "pre-filer".

Computer guy is still just computer guy and Adam is only a little more delineated (loved him showing the kid how to really hold his gun on someone, followed by all four of them going to the door that way), but I like them both and hope they get more play real soon.

I know that probably didn't work. Anyway, that's the whole theme of episode seven, De-Clawed.

OH, and my early guess when we saw the pre-filer watching the team was that one of them was on his list. dum dum DUM!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I really liked the pacing on this episode.

I liked AB with the kid. It's still amazing to me that he had such a long career without anyone figuring out what he's good at until Firefly.

It felt like by pointing them towards Roger, he was trying to bait Rebecca into playing a game with him, which culminated in attempting to manipulate her to say yes.

I thought he wanted to find a "real" profiler who would admire him and agree with what he was doing.

That's some flashy eye shadow.

I thought the same thing.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I enjoyed it, and the faster pacing. I have to admit that I didn't watch last week's episode (although I did read all the posts about it). I saw the very beginning, and it seemed to be a woman restrained on a bed, struggling, and a man crawling over her and taunting her, and it immediately set off way too many of my personal hot buttons. So the episode was on in the background as I washed dishes and did things around the house, but I wasn't able to watch it or really listen to it (my version of watching from the doorway). But I promise to watch all the epsiodes that don't center on serial rapists. Like tonight's show (getting us back on topic).

Question: how did the Prefiler get an FBI badge so he could get into their office? I missed that. Or did he just wave something that looked kind of badge-like at the janitor so he'd like him in?

Boreanaz continues to be hot.

Yeah, but is he likely to be chained to a bed in this new show?
