"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

So Tim, am I correct in my take that Rebecca's last line to Martin was not a sign of her deciding to do the right (or at least by the book) thing, but of coldly deciding that he deserved the option that would involve longer-term suffering and the poetic justice of being unable to punish his own urges the way he did others'?

Matt, you are correct, in my opinion anyway.

Rebecca's lack of affect is what I like about her. And probably what I don't like about Paul, come to think of it.

I enjoyed that. It was sort of a Vachss story from the other side.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Okay, Emily, should I spill my theory or wait until the west coast airs and let people have at it like last week with the "you'll be stronger" debate, which was exactly the kind of debate I was hoping for?

Gosh, Tim, you sound so conflicted about it. If only I could tell which option you'd prefer.

I'll be here for a while. I can wait.

OK, Emily -- I'll just say this, and I don't know how to white font, so here it is: my feeling was that Roger was one of several possibles Marty had been watching. He probably had already concluded that Roger would be a kiddie raper/killer (like that dude in San Diego -- ugh), but maybe would not have acted on Roger at this stage. He wanted to make a point to Rebecca, and after hacking her computer and learning who she was, he chose one off the menu that would resonate with her. That's all, really.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Definitely liked that one a lot more than the previous two. Don't know if it was the "New and Improved" pacing or what. I do think the fact that we got to know the Pre-Filer and have him be an interesting character helped, whereas previously the killer was more or less faceless until the reveal (if that makes any sense) helped a lot.

That little girl in next week's episode looks familiar. Was she in an episode of CSI? Or maybe it was SVU...

she looks familiar to me too and i don't watch either of those shows. i probably saw her on Judging Amy or MadTV.

all of these Wonderfalls people! so exciting. are we going to get some Lee Pace, Tim?

Hmm..

Tim, so the guy lives.

Are we going to see him again, especially to taunt Rebecca with the other 'possibles' he probably has on file...?

I was getting that vibe during the episode. It felt like by pointing them towards Roger, he was trying to bait Rebecca into playing a game with him, which culminated in attempting to manipulate her to say yes.

....or to guilt her in a later episode as one of 'possibles' goes active...?

Good actor. Shame not to use him again.
