Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I side on two ideas: Becky is a rookie. She probably shouldn't be there.

Two: Sexual vibe. She WANTED to got into the aparentment was the vibe I got. You can argue this is dumb all you like, but it doesn't change Mark's writing. She went in.

And yes, I am drunk.

It really really is.

In trying to figure out what the hell "TOMOG" was (and oh yeah, that wasn't very good, actually, but that's okay) I was reminded of the existence of "The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco." I loved that ep, start to finish.

Tim, Q4U: How does fall scheduling for "summer" shows work? Will you run through winter (dec05ish) and then hiatus for spring and then start season two next fall, or would you run through next spring (may06ish) and then go directly into production for the fall (sept06ish?)?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Deena:

It was my understanding that a woman cried rape; the police officer, over the course of the next 5 months tracked down and interviewed all of Brandt's sexual partners and believed that each of those encounters was rape, but Brandt's sexual partners didn't agree. Then, after that 5 months of trying to build a case for Brandt being a serial rapist, the first one recants and says she is in love with Brandt. He said Brandt "got to her", implying that Brandt was seducing her over the course of that 5 months. Later, it seems more likely that she was one of his BDSM partners who didn't like it that he'd moved on.

IIRC, The first woman was the only one who ID'd Brandt. In the other cases, the rapist was wearing a mask. Didn't Brandt say in his defense (to the cop, I think) that it couldn't have been him b/c the women knew how he felt (or something like that)?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

He said Brandt "got to her", implying that Brandt was seducing her over the course of that 5 months.

That's how I took it as well.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Oh. Yes, you're right, Smonster. So that rapist was the cop?

I was bugged by the fact someone in Web's group said that the cop had gone from rape to rape and murder, escalating, and I couldn't place who the rape victims were/where they came from. I'd forgotten that part.

My interpretation of that was that the detective thought Brandt had threatened her to get her to recant.

Chikat, Rebecca asked him if he meant violence, and he said no, he said something like, "Brandt just got to her, he gets to everyone. He'll get to you."

eta: Thanks, Brenda. I'm glad I wasn't the only one.

Umm. I think. Honestly, I am still confused on some plot points in this ep.

Also, HI! I know I see you on LJ, but this is more immediate. So HI!

eta that I don't watch CSI or any of that stuff, so it's gory to me. Perhaps some of these people complaining are also not CSI watchers. I am watching this show *in spite* of the gore, b/c of the Tim and Jane and Adam and Katie.

Now tagless for your comfort.

On a completely random side note: did it freak anyone else out when Adam Baldwin was wearing those blue gloves????

I noted it.

I don't agree. We've been given compelling evidence that you have to be fucked up to work for Web. It doesn't seem like a long way to go to assume they're seeing it through their own broken lenses.

While Web hints at all the agents having issues, Danny's doesn't seem to exhibit any emotionally broken behavior--not sure about Kate Finneran's character, yet. I know that Rebecca is fucked up and everything she sees is reflected through that. And maybe even Paul, too. I just think their reactions are not correct for someone with FBI training--psychology is part of their education. I kept wanting for them to display a little professional distance in their examination of the subject.

Yes, though it's not actually the gore, it's the pictures that bother me.

I kept wanting for them to display a little professional distance in their examination of the subject.

Yeah, that would be nice.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Was that this episode? I wondered if it was a Firefly ref.
