[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Chapter the Seventeenth, How Piro and His Friends, Upon at Last Reaching Dzur Mountain, Met Someone Whom We Hope the Reader Will Consider an Old Friend...
Feathers! I nearly think that we do encounter someone that, dear reader, if you will pause just a moment to reflect, we have not only had the pleasure to encounter previously, but also reason to regard them with no small affection and warmth, bordering on fraternity.
Sic 'im, Loiosh!
[Sure, boss. But do you think that jhereg venom works on weremonkeys?]
Just out of curiousity, which Vlad Taltos novel was the favorite of my fellow Brust afficionados? (Yendi here, which may or may not be because it was the first I read.)
Dudes, I have no idea what y'all have been on about for several days, but now I understand that it is drugs.

Jhereg, here, for similar reasons, then Cowboy Feng's Space Bar and Grille, for others.

He stood a while astounded at this remarkable speech, JohnSweden having channelled Brust so precisely. Then he sighed, or laughed, or both.
I like Yendi quite a bit too, but Brust has long-disavowed it, until recently saying on Dragaera-list something to the effect of "it doesn't suck as much as I thought", which in Steve-speak is high praise. If I can't have Yendi, I'll go with Jhereg.
ETA: Gus employed a generous interpretation of Matt's request, to which I nearly feel compelled to respond, in truth, geased to add mine own humble view, to wit: The Sun, the Moon and the Stars, and in the spirit of the initial expansion of purpose, I further have no will to keep my self from proclaiming, except to say: To Reign in Hell.
I love Jhereg the most, but I love anything with Vlad in it. I dislike Cowboy Feng quite a bit, so I see that Gus and I can never be together.
