That's my girl, large and in-charge. Okay, teensy-weensy and in charge.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I'm still broken about numbers

I'm going to Office Depot to try and cheer myself up. You want some colorful gel pens?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

You want some colorful gel pens?

Yes please.

TWOP is the herdiest.

I read a post about how mad someone was that Rebecca was so vindictive to the manraped dude, because, you know, she went willingly into a serial killer suspects house and therefore deserved to be cuffed and terrorized.

And then I closed the window.

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

I saw some of the same "gore for gore's sake blah blah" over at TWoP. I expect them to hate the show... but I don't usually expect them to go so herd group-think with stuff that's, frankly, not there.

This thread is like Annie Hall come to life.

TWoP Guy: Gore for gore's sake blah blah. Minear did better work on Angel... and I didn't like that either. Firefly was blah blah blah.
Alvy Buffista: What do you do when you get stuck in a thread with a guy like this? You don't know anything about Tim Minear's work
TWoP Guy: Really? Really? I happen to recap shows for Television Without Pity, so I think that my insights into Mr. Minear, well, have a great deal of validity.
Alvy Buffista: Oh, that's funny, because I happen to have Mr. Minear right here. Come over here for a second? Tell him.
Tim Minear: I heard what you were saying. You, you know nothing of my work. How you ever got to recap anything is totally amazing.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

People who watch a show just to rip it apart really amuse me. I'm not sure why.

Tim, although "I've got a story idea for you" are words I've vowed I'll never say online to a show runner... Please have an internet user serial killer. It'd certainly stoke a great many fires in all the wrong places, which sounds great to me.

He already did that, Kevin. It was a tree.

I may have to seize the cat.

I fear I sometimes come off as one of those people, though more with movies than shows. People don't get that criticism is part of the fun. Of course, if it's not FUN, then why are they doing it? That's what I don't get. No one MAKES you watch bad TV (now THERE'S an idea for a serial killer character...). (Or good TV, nobody does that, either.) Turn it off, leave the room, read a book - it's not hard to get away from.
