This is torture, me being at work and not able to have watched the East Coast feed waiting for me on my Tivo.
It's nice to have a Minear show back on the air.
KristinT, you are so right.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

If Web is Fagan and Rebecca is Oliver, then I think Katie Finneran's character must be the Artful Dodger. Or wait...maybe Adam's character?
Time for bed. With nightlight.
Wasn't thinking of mom when I killed that woman.
Let's hope not. Holidays are complicated enough.

Is Paul Nancy?
Too tired and headachy to catch up on posts but wanted to say one thing and ask a question.
Thing One: Rachel Nichols is very very pretty.
Thing Two: Did they switch up the episode order since last week ? Because the promo for next week is the same promo they showed last week for this week.
Kind of an strange first post, but Kiba Rika: last week's promo was "This season, on The Inside", rather than "next week."

Thankee. It all makes sense now. Brain is still hurty, but now it's all headache and no confusion. Yay!
Yeah, last week I thought all the stuff in the promo was going to be in this week's episode, and boy did it look action-packed!
I'm remembering something I was curious about. What did people see as Locke's motivation in that last bit where she takes off the cuffs and says, "You'll feel better" (or whatever the line is)? Was that sincere, or... I'm having trouble thinking of the word (note to self: next time you go dancing, make sure you don't spend all your money on booze; save some for water). Ah! A Bristowesque wisecrack? Because I was having trouble figuring that out.
My problem tends to be that it's played so blatantly to titillate (not this time, I'm saying usually) and wavers between glamorizing and moralizing, so the people involved are all gorgeous and wearing fantastic clothing and in opulent surroundings -
Yes, exactly.
(Tho' I will say that the kinky 'social' club was the nicest one I've ever seen, and filled with far prettier people than usual in the background. I can hand-wave this by going "It's set in L.A., it's set in L.A.")
Very nice job, Tim. I'm going to be kinda cranky about having to watch episodes on tape delay on the Wed. nights I manage to go out dancing.
"You'll feel better" (or whatever the line is)?
She said, "You'll feel stronger." Because Cole had said something to her about why women are into that scene, and I don't remember the whole conversation, even though I've had no booze. I'm just exhausted. But they were talking about coming out the other side of something, and how it made you stronger.
Or was that a conversation with Paul? Shit. Must go to bed. I know she said, "You'll feel stronger," though.
I'm all Insidealicious so I'll take a crack at that question too, Emily.
Locke's giving him the same line he handed out earlier about how being dominated and getting through it makes you stronger. At first I thought she was being vindictive and/or annoyed at being handcuffed by him earlier, but in the process of answering this I'm coming around to the other side of it. Perhaps she's telling him from personal experience that surviving that experience will make him stronger, no matter how much it sucks now. It's a toss-up.
How great is it to not really know anybody's motivations? Ahhh, complicated and interesting characters. Without The Inside, what in the world would I watch this summer?
