Paul is judgemental, yet I still love him.
I love him least so far. This could be me, of course -- but Web is a vicious bastard, but fascinating. Danny and Mel are still not fleshed-out, but there's a fantastic oppositional thing to them -- they're the ones who currently aren't on the inside as we focus on the central triangle. They're kinda surrogate Buffistas, with the snarky commentary, only they're all tough and shit. I said from the first that I was yet to warm to Rebecca, but she's getting there. Paul, to me, is the resident irritating do-gooder. My only hope for a character who declares himself upfront to be the conscience is to see him shot down really hard.
The re-enactment sequence rocks a lot. After last week, I was worried about it (the whole "I've seen this. On every. Show. Ever." thing).
And I love that Paul is married and about to have a kid. I hope that...pays off, I guess, at some point in the future.
"At least that's what the flyer says."
"You've been to church?"
Yeah, my people have to get leads off flyers -'cause me? I don't know anything.
Anne and I are all x-posty goodness tonight.
I want to have sex with all three of them in the re-enactment.
This is why we like you.
Except I don't like Danny much. But that's me.
Er, not Danny. Dammit! Paul.
Nice twist.
So the churchy guy is on the up and up? That's a nice change.
Oooh. I'm impressed. That was more twisty than I expected.
I want to have sex with all three of them in the re-enactment.
Just so you write them some safewords.
