We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely A One at all.

Good catch Kevin. Those cast interviews give better insight to the show than any of the critic's reviews I've seen.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hey!

Okay. I'm not a critic. But I play one in Minearverse.

And also did an interview with Rachel for Popgurls. Lots of interesting things. Hope I do it some justice.

Thanks, Kat.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hope I do it some justice.

Signs point to yes.

Woot! Everyone knows What Scrappy Said is always right.

Also got some skinny on Adam Baldwin and Peter Coyote, yes, they do debate a lot, though very calmly and articulately, and bring each other books to read all the time.

That's just adorable.

"Silence of the Lambs meets X-Files." "Parallels to Wizard of Oz."

That's good stuff. I'm still trying to wrap my head around those. I think it's more the antithesis of Wizard of Oz. Unlike the Tin Man, Paul doesn't need a heart he has the heart. Danny doesn't need courage he is the courage. If Rebecca is Dorothy that makes Melody the Scarecrow which must mean she's incredibly smart. Oz was not as all powerful as purported where Web most likely is.

I see some X-File parallels, aside from the obvious FBI thing. Web seems to be CSMish. Mel looks like Scully anyway. Maybe she'll prove to be the skeptic who questions. I have a personal theory that Paul is so protective because something happened to a family member that he feels he should have prevented like Mulder and his sister.

Wow. I don't think I've posted anything so geek-like since my early Bronze days.

What is even happening?

Oh, I bet. Coyote was/is something of an activist, right?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

One day I plan to put a member of the NRI, Joss Whedon, Adam Baldwin and Adam Tudyk in the same room. And then run away.

One day I also plan to write a book, though, and that has similar chances of happening.

Unrelated news: as we all knew, Sci-Fi have picked up Firefly. What I didn't know is that they appear to have accquired the TV rights to Firefly from 20th Century Fox - which appears to mean Universal (who own Sci-fi) now own Firefly full stop, I'd presume.

Of course, Uncle Joss is on other good ventures now, but it is kinda curious.
