The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I was more sad than angry. It had promise.

Heh. I compared it Angel S4 elsewhere. Because there are bits that don't entirely make sense if I stop to think about it, but it kept moving so that mostly I didn't stop to think about it. And the characters are all crazy and/or jerks. It's exactly the same show!

So yeah, I thought it was fun. And I want someone to punch Paul.

I totally love this guy. What a magnificently lovely bastard!

You should have seen the forum he used to run. And people think I'm cranky...

I may have to seize the cat.

After a rewatch, I have realized that every single line I found strident and awkward came out of Paul's mouth. This leads me to believe that rather than the lines themselves having a problem, they are just the kind of things Paul would say - speechifying, "deep" things that sound odd to me but make sense coming from White Knight Guy, if you think he spends a lot of time coming up with the "right" (which is not the same as natural) thing to say.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

And I want someone to punch Paul.

HA! I keep telling Tim that he IS Paul.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ack!! My bad, my bad. I will switch, as is only right, though you are gracious to offer to share. Also - smonster! Hi!

Hi!! I was serious, though, that quote is big enough to share. I was totally tickled that we picked the same line.

Hmm. Topic. 2 days to next ep! Yay! It's so great to have something new to watch in the summer, especially something new *and* good.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I have to decide if I want to dl GF, or if I'm happy just having the comics close at hand, and thus feel no need to see what might have been. Also, can't believe how many of the people I would have expected to have read GF hadn't.

Hec, yes, I will need to get a copy of The Inside from you. Then I can view it and have my own thoughts. Which will be all exciting and stuff.

Hey. New board.

I'm playing The Inside pilot on my PDA right now, AIFG. It is being used as my intensive battery test, to see how long I can play Divx movies on this thing.
