[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

a sleazy charm all its own

I love that.

P-C's link hates me. And in my own out in the wilds, I had the same problem ita had at the 57% mark. Twice. Going to see if there's anything new out.

Um.

The Global Frequency pilot is also on usenet - alt.binaries.multimedia

I'm partial to shows with "big ideas", so this one had me within five minutes. Unfortunately the books are still in print, so this is another reason to stop by a comic store. Damn you P-C, damn you to Disneyland and back.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

In that description of the upcoming episode,

"and there's an explicit rape scene"
has me worried. Face flaps, degloved hands, quarts of blood tossed around, those I can deal with.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

has me worried. Face flaps, degloved hands, quarts of blood tossed around, those I can deal with.

I have a rape squick, too. I don't deal with it well, at all. Can make me feel rage for hours and days.

I don't know how this one will play, but it sort of turns the squick on its head.

It's interesting and I can't wait to discuss it.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Well, no. I guess maybe these critics are doing their laundry while watching or something.

I certainly hope that's the case, because otherwise the gulf between objective reality and what this critic is seeing is very, very worrisome.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

All of GF has been collected...

Is it findable somewhere other than usenet? PC's link no worky no more, and the torrent is giving me no love.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Insent, Jon, but not in any way to imply anything illegal.

I echo Jon B.

Though, I'm still not quite at 57% (again). I anticipate failure, though.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Damn, twenty-five downloads already! Let me try putting it up on Rapidshare.

ETA: Ah, can't. Small download limit. And Megaupload blows like nothing else. I had another YSI upload going before, but it crapped out. Blarg. Here I go again.
