That falls under "don't be a dick," right?

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
it would be pretty shitty if an east-coaster came in during the west coast w&p during the scene where they're chasing hood!boy, and say, "eh, he's not the real killer anyway. It's that funny-looking dude in the glasses."
As a west-coaster, I already stay out of show threads until I've watched them, and have absorbed the sadness of not being able to watch and post properly.
This isn't a new scenario -- it's like Lost or Angel or Buffy or the entire Boxed Set thread.
I wouldn't dare asking people to start whitefonting stuff about a show they've already been discussing in blackfont.
Well the whitefonting in this thread occurred during the west coast viewing, by east-coasters who saw west-coasters watching and posting. Even if we are NAFDA, I don't see that as a bad thing. Doesn't need a rule.
Huh. All the whitefont I noticed was from West Coasters.
I wasn't saying it needs a rule, just that I think it's unnecessary, and I wouldn't fault anyone for not observing it. It's not consistent, and I wouldn't ask it be done on my account.
I doublechecked -- Kat started whitefonting, and she's definitely on this side of the country. I think it spiralled from there, but was hardly consistent. So any west coaster trying to stay unspoiled would have been out of luck.
You're right. I just assumed since nobody was talking about the episode in blackfont during that hour, that it was out of courtesy. And I wouldn't fault anyone for not observing it. Unless they were deliberately being a dick. But that's true in any thread, black or white font.
I'd be surprised if there were many West Coasters who cared about finding out show details who'd venture eyes-open into a show thread after it's aired.
Heh. It WAS the book store owner from Angel Season 2. Knew it.
The killer was, Kevin? Cool!
